Announcement and First Call For Papers

ARRL DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS CONFERENCE
September 8-10
Arlington, Texas, U.S.A.

Mark your calendar and start making plans to attend the year's premier event
in digital communications. The 14th Annual ARRL Digital Communications
Conference will be held September 8-10, 1995, in Arlington, Texas -- just
minutes from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport. Co-hosts for the Conference are
TAPR and the Texas Packet Radio Society.

The ARRL Digital Communications Conference is an international forum for
radio amateurs and experts in digital communications, networking, and related
technologies to meet, publish their work, and present new ideas and
techniques for discussion. Presenters and attendees will have the
opportunity to exchange ideas and learn about recent hardware and software
advances, theories, experimental results, and practical applications.

Anyone interested in digital communications is invited to submit a paper for
publication in the Conference Proceedings. Presentation at the Conference is
not required for publication. Papers are due by July 21, 1995, and should be
submitted to Maty Weinberg, ARRL, 225 Main St., Newington, CT 06111 U.S.A. or
via Internet at lweinberg@arrl.org. Please contact Maty for detailed format
requirements.

The hotel/conference center is extremely well suited and well sited for this
event. They regularly host other communications-related events and staff
members are very familiar with the sight of satellite dishes springing up on
the lawn! They and we are looking forward to a tremendous conference. We
hope YOU can be part of it!
