This software is designed for GNU/Linux with glibc 2.1 or later.

If you are upgrading from a previous version, ALWAYS read UPGRADE.

Don't use it unless you can afford to lose access to your system and 
be forced to boot from floppy or into single user mode.

Having said that, so long as you have a reasonable /etc/nsswitch.conf setup
you should be fairly OK :-} (check the INSTALL file for more details)

NOTE that installing nscd will improve performances significantly.

Limitation: you cannot mix non MySQL users with MySQL groups and non MySQL
groups with MySQL users. This is why join for members is done on the group_id
and NOT on the GID.
